Dr. Richard Mercer
Dr. Richard Mercer is a second-generation dentist who took over his father’s practice after graduating from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1987. He grew up around dentistry, so it was no surprise that he developed a strong interest in patient care.
Dr. Mercer’s patients consistently comment on his impeccable quality of work and his ability to listen. He has a special interest in dental lab work, which allows him to demonstrate his creative arts in beautiful cosmetic dentistry.
Being born and raised in Portland Oregon, he grew up appreciating this beautiful city. In his spare time, Dr. Mercer enjoys spending time gardening.

MehranHygienist
Mehran graduated from Portland Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. He has been with Dr. Mercer’s practice since 2008. Mehran’s patients comment on his soft voice, friendly approach and kind personality.
When time allows, he enjoys traveling and watching his favorite sports team; The Portland Trail Blazers.

AmandaOffice Manager
Amanda was Dr. Mercer’s Dental Assistant who is now his office manager. She has been with his practice since 2007. She demonstrates a strong dedication to patient care and is a valuable part of Dr. Mercer’s clinical team.
Amanda enjoys photography and spending time with her family.

Suzee
Suzee is one of Dr. Mercer’s Office Administrators. With over 20 years of experience in the dental field.

Sherilan
Sherilan joined the practice in 2011 to facilitate new technology and practices into the office. She has executed a smooth transition into the paperless and chartless world. Sherilan continues to provide support to Dr. Mercer throughout the year.

KatrinaDental Assistant
Katrina is Dr. Mercer's Dental assistant. She has been with his practice since 2022.
She enjoys paleontology and cooking.

Gideon graduated from Cerritos college in California after serving in the Marines.
When he is not at work he enjoys hiking, trips to the beach and spending time with his new baby.

Annie works part time at the front desk and helping with sterilazation.
Annie loves to travel and spend time with friends and family.
